How to Play
Think Fast. Answer First. Be Smarter. Here's everything you need to know.
Every match is a race, not a quiz. A question appears on everyone's screen at the same time. The first person or team to type the correct answer wins the point for that question โ being right a second later than someone else still means you get nothing for it. A full match is a fixed set of questions (20 by default), played back-to-back until they're all answered or time runs out on each one.
- Create a Room โ pick a game mode, category, and difficulty, then share the room code with whoever you're playing.
- Join a Room โ got a code from someone else? Enter it to hop into their room.
- Once everyone required has joined, the host taps Start Match and the questions begin.
Just you against one other person.
Your team against another โ any teammate who answers first wins the point for the whole team.
Same as Team vs Team, but bragging rights go to the school.
Everyone in the room competes individually โ highest score wins.
- Each question has a countdown timer โ the color changes as time runs low.
- Type your answer and hit Submit. Small typos and word order are usually forgiven (e.g. "Abuja" and "abuja" both count).
- Once someone answers correctly, or time runs out, the next question loads automatically โ no waiting around.
- You generally get one attempt per question, so make it count.
After the last question, whoever (or whichever team) has the most points wins the match. Equal top scores mean a draw. Every match you play updates your match history and your position on the leaderboard.
Beyond points, your accuracy at each difficulty (Easy, Medium, and Hard) earns you a separate level in that difficulty โ so a high level on Hard questions means something different, and harder to earn, than the same level on Easy ones. Check your profile to see where you currently stand in each.
Create or join a team to unlock Team vs Team and School vs School modes. While waiting in a room (and during the match itself), you can chat with the other participants using the chat panel.
